Paul Hague is the CEO and founder of the B2B International group. He set up B2B International in 1998, and has directed its development into its status as the leading European business-to-business agency.
Throughout his career Paul has developed market research training courses for in-house and public use, trained more than 600 market researchers, and carried out over 2,500 market research projects. He is renowned worldwide as an expert in his field and is also a strategic marketing consultant to some of the largest US and UK industrial companies, including Dow Chemical and Dow Corning.
Paul is the author of a large number of leading market research white papers and publications – including the best seller “Market Research” published by Kogan Page. Other books include “The Industrial Market Research Handbook”, “Market Research In Practice”, “Questionnaire Design”, “Interviewing”, “Presentations And Report Writing” and “The Power Of Industrial Branding”. His books have been translated into Chinese, Indonesian, Portuguese, Italian, Bulgarian and Polish.
In addition, Paul is a visiting fellow of Manchester Metropolitan University and guest lecturer at Manchester Business School. In the field of business-to-business market research, Paul is a world authority.
Matthew Harrison is Director of B2B International, and has worked for the company in both China and the UK. He has 8 years’ experience of business-to-business market research, and has conducted and managed business-to-business projects across numerous industries, including in aerospace, automotive, chemicals and petrochemicals, construction, education, engineering, financial services, food, IT, pharmaceuticals, telecoms and transport. His clients include the likes of Shell, UKTI, JohnsonDiversey, Vodafone, Orange and Univation.
Matthew has worked for numerous clients across Asia, with experience of market research and consultancy projects in China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
He has written a number of white papers, including, 'Using Online Focus Groups', 'Business Research In China' and 'Marketing and Selling to Chinese Companies'.

Alaric Fairbanks, General Manager of B2B International China, moved to Beijing following his previous role as Head of Asian Research at B2B International in the UK.
Alaric is a business development specialist, previously employed by Durham Business School as International Programmes Director, focussing on consultancy and research in economic and industrial development, particularly in China where he was responsible for establishing six business consultancies in a joint Sino-UK project. Prior to this he lived in China from 1994 to 1999, working for the engineering multi-national ABB. To this end, he works alongside Matt on all aspects of our Asian operations.
Alaric has experience of working with wholly foreign-owned enterprises, joint ventures and with Chinese state-owned enterprises, private sector and government, and has direct working experience in 12 provinces. Alaric speaks fluent Chinese and works for clients across Asia and beyond.

Jason Zhang joined B2B International China as Deputy General Manager following previous employment with Euro RSCG, China Netcom Corporation, TMP Worldwide and GNS China.
Educated in both China and the UK, Jason is bi-lingual. In addition to his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Jason also possesses an MBA in Strategic Marketing.
With a decade’s experience of marketing, market research and project management under his belt, Jason has worked for numerous clients across Asia, including the likes of AIG, Areva, Deloitte, Dow Corning, HP, Johnson & Johnson, KODAK, L’Oreal, Michelin, P&G and Philips.

Siew Wong, a Singaporean national, has a wealth of experience in market research and consultancy across Asia. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Malay, Siew is a qualitative research specialist, having carried out focus groups and in-depth interviews in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Malaysia. He is an exponent of a variety of qualitative techniques developed and adapted for the Asian audience, including: probing and clarifying; concept testing; ranking and clarifying; top-of-mind and aided-recall awareness; projective test techniques, collage projection, role play and imagination; rotation procedures; and comparison evaluation.
As a senior member of the team in Beijing, Siew also has considerable experience in project design and management and data analysis, and brings more than 20 years’ Asian business experience to all projects in which he is involved.
